Metamorphany is a word that captures a defining change in someone’s perspective on a matter…any matter. It is an inspiring thought to know that such a word exists, for its mere existence proves that positive change is possible, regardless of where we come from or what our starting point is. As a word, Metamorphany is the embodiment of hope for and belief in a bright future for all. But Metamorphany is so much more than an inspiring word; it’s the launching pad of action, a starting point from which we make change together.

Metamorphany Changemakers is new and on a mission—dedicated to help our local communities; empower our young minds; lift organizations, young professionals and (new) leaders to a higher level; and accelerate the development and deployment of sustainable solutions to issues that matter and affect us all—locally and globally, today and in the future.

From the decline in ‘the middle class’ ratios, rising poverty rates and devastating numbers of homelessness and addiction…to the increased impact of climate change, epidemic rise of anxiety and depression amongst teens, young adults and elderly…and the reality that some 85%1 of our children in schools today worldwide are preparing themselves for jobs that have not yet been invented1—and our schools are having to play catch-up to that fact.

We believe that impactful change has to come from our local communities. We cannot wait for and should not rely on our Governments or large institutions to bring us solutions to many of the issues that we have, collectively, helped create as humans. We believe that we are the solution ourselves…collectively.

We should not forget that regardless if one is a student or a teacher, employed or unemployed, a business owner, public servant or private sector employee, a politician or an activist, we are all community members and global citizens first. Just like we are all a son or a daughter, a brother or a sister, a husband or a wife, a mother or a father. And with those roles, we have all been given the power to help and accepted the responsibility to serve our communities and organizations—large & small, public & private, profit & non-profit. Together—with the right intent—we can solve many of the issues that we are challenged with today.

We are a network of innovators, educators, changemakers, and extrapreneurs. We are community development practitioners, business professionals, scientists, tradesmen, lobbyists, and activists; Mothers, fathers, daughters, sons, sisters, and brothers. We believe in a better tomorrow and we believe in the solutions we bring forward collectively.

Our innovation specialists and changemakers are ready to help communities, municipalities, NGOs, Governments and private sector organizations find sustainable solutions for any and many of our local and global challenges. We invite you to connect with us and/or introduce us to your local leaders and initiators.

Our primary focus is to help achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs, also known as The Global Goals) by 2030, empower our children, youth, and young adults, and help them develop into the new type of leaders our world needs going forward.

We do not look at things from a sole approach but see the inter-connectedness of it all.

We care about the advancements we, as humans, have made throughout the centuries and decennia, yet also conclude that there are essential underlying lessons and factors we have made much less progress in. We believe that ‘gap’ may well be the root cause of many of our social-, economic-, political- and cultural- issues.

So while we, at Metamorphany, focus on finding immediate solutions for many of our current and future issues, we are determined to help eradicate many of them by helping individuals and groups become better custodians for the next generation(s). Our collaborative innovation methodologies do just that. Our process facilitates acceleration of finding sustainable solutions and more importantly, it helps shift the focus from ‘who’s to blame’ and ‘what is wrong’ to ‘we all have a role in this’ and ‘together we can turn the tide’.

In a world with 7.7 billion people (2019) and a population growth of around 1 million per year, we believe it is our duty to help the present and next generation. What better way is there than to involve them directly and have them experience positive accelerated learning. To have them truly experience ‘metamorphany’—a defining change in perspective—which forms the foundation for new solution directions and a willingness to play an active role. Experiencing ‘metamorphany’ is not something that can be forced upon someone by laws or bylaws. It occurs through participation, through inspiration, through collaboration. This is how we, at Metamorphany Changemakers, play our part in helping eradicate many of today’s issues over time. We are confident that together with you, we will ensure that come 2030 a new sun will rise on the horizon of every community across our globe.

We find solutions to issues that matter and affect us all. We advocate, promote awareness and change people’s perspectives and lives. We develop and promote sustainable and easy-to-implement solutions, have a longterm focus and are dedicated to driving positive and lasting change. We don’t do ‘band-aid’ or ‘short-term’ thinking.

And while we are devoted to our causes for the long haul, we are confident that if we do our job well, we will have also eliminated the need for the existence of Metamorphany Changemakers as an organization by the time our world leaders announce to us the end of extreme poverty, inequality and injustice, and climate change.

We believe in community driven solutions and the ingeniousness that is within each of us. We help students, municipalities, NGOs, schools & universities, Governments, and businesses with a structured process and proven innovation methodologies that help maximize the collective power of each community member.

During our events, we train, empower, create awareness and help bundle the individual strengths of each participant into sustainable solutions that most deem(ed) impossible. But most of all, we are in awe every single time by the commitment and innovative solutions that our fellow community members and changemakers come up with, particularly our youngest minds.
